The Clintons: An American Odyssey DVD Review

Synopsis: From their college years and early political activism, the inseparable pair built a legacy of public service that would lead to the governorship of Arkansas and eventually to the Presidency of the United States. Beyond their years in the White House, the most high-profile couple in the world didn’t retire. Hillary served as U.S. Senator, made a history-making run for the presidency against Barack Obama and finally stepped into the role of Secretary of State. Bill continued to make his mark as a leader in philanthropy and advocacy with global influence. From their unprecedented achievements, disappointing defeats, dramatic power struggles and crippling scandals, it’s all here in a thought-provoking, insightful time capsule, telling one of America’s greatest personal and political stories

Review: I remember a world pre-9/11.  I remember an economy with a surplus..I remember no wars..I remember a balanced budget.  I remember gas being $1 a gallon.  Do you know what all these things remind me of?  President Bill Clinton.  This fantastic DVD is a great look at the power couple of the past two decades and their contributions both socially and politically.  Obviously, if you're an extremist on the right wing you won't enjoy this DVD, but if you're a normal, sane person, then this one may be for you.  Its a great look at a great president.  This would be perfect for the classroom and for homeschoolers, as well.
