Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel DVD Review

Synopsis: Excelsior! The fathttp://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7228112976095767#editor/target=post;postID=3919798443888813805;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=2;src=linke of the Tri-State area – and the world – hangs in the balance as Agent P and Danville's most dynamic duo team up with four of Marvel's greatest Super Heroes in one awesome full-length adventure.

It's thwarted-business-as-usual for Dr. Doofenshmirtz – until a blast from his "Power-Drain-Inator" ricochets off of Phineas and Ferb's space station, hitting Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk and Thor. Now the kids must restore the Super Heroes' lost powers before a group of dastardly super-villains destroy the planet! Fortunately, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. are also on the case, together with O.W.C.A.'s top agent, Perry the Platypus. Aren't Phineas and Ferb a little young to help avert a potential disaster? Yes. Yes they are! Bursting with original songs and six additional episodes, Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel is a must-own, action-packed event of heroic proportions.

Review: When Disney purchased Marvel recently we knew that things were going to start to happen.  This is the perfect example of why I and my kids were very excited at this development.   This great new cartoon mash-up features the gang from Phineas and Ferb teaming with Spiderman, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor to battle Red Skull, Venom, Whiplash and Modok...not to mention their usual nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz!   This feature is nothing but fun!  My kids from ages three to eleven all enjoyed this one!

This new DVD comes with a packed-in comic book and a huge pull-out poster of the cover of the DVD!  These two small additions make all the difference in the world to a kid.  My kids went nuts over them!  The special features includes bonus episodes of Phineas and Ferb: BONUS ADVENTURES: "Fly On The Wall"; "Sidetracked, Parts 1 & 2"; "Primal Perry, Parts 1 & 2"; "Backyard Hodge Podge"; "Knot My Problem"; "Mind Share"
