Jake & The Neverland Pirates: Battle for the Book DVD Review

Synopsis: Set sail for an epic saga stretching from London, all the way to Never Land and back. Before you can say, "Pixie dust, away!" -- Wendy, John and Michael Darling join JAKE AND THE NEVER LAND PIRATES for a soaring, swashbuckling, full-length adventure. Captain Hook -- fed up with being portrayed as a bumbling fool in Wendy's magical storybook -- flies the Joly Roger to London and snatches the book away, so Peter Pan calls on Jake and his crew to help save the day. But there's no time to lose, because the longer Hook has the book, the faster everyone's memories of Pan and Never Land will fade away... forever! Overflowing with action-packed fun, beloved PETER PAN characters and four additional episodes, BATTLE FOR THE BOOK is an unforgettable celebration of teamwork and the magical power of storytelling.

Review: Jake and the Neverland Pirates is one of the best shows on Disney Junior.  The show continues to enthrall little ones, including my own.  This new DVD includes the episodes Battle for the Book Parts 1 & 2, treasure of the Pirate Mummy's Tomb, Mystery of the Missing Treasure!, Pirate Genie Tales, Captain Gizmo, Jake's Pirate Swap Meet, Sleeping Mermaid, Jake's Mega-Mecha Sword.  There is also a cool bonus feature of 10 episodes of Jake's Never Land Pirate School animated shorts.  These episodes are fun and they teach some great lessons to your preschool aged kids.

These DVDs will often come with cool packed-in extras, and this one is no exception!  There is a neat bandanna style checkerboard with little checkers for the kids to play with in this DVD set.
